Katie is a senior at Hofstra studying public relations and strategic communication, with a second major in dance. She has professional experience interning with CeaseFirePA, providing community outreach within the advocacy space, and with ZE Creative Communications, working with municipality and nonprofit clients. She is very involved on campus, holding leadership positions with the Hofstra Chapter of the The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), The Hofstra Chronicle, Hofstra Votes LIVE, Teaching Dance as Art, and Danceworks Productions. Katie was drawn to public relations because of its intersection of creativity and strategy, and her love for creating unique messaging that has a positive impact, and she is excited to continue pursuing her passion in the communications field following her graduation.

Nick is a senior at Hofstra studying public relations with minors in journalism and film studies. He has previously worked as a social media/marketing intern with Fuzey Designs and is very involved on campus. Nick joined Hofstra’s student-run radio station, WHRU, in 2023 and has served as Vice President of Recruitment for Hofstra's Interfraternity Council. He also served on Phi Delta Theta’s executive board in 2024 as Membership Development & Recruitment Chair. He chose Hofstra because of its decorated journalism and public relations programs, as well as the proximity to New York City. Following his graduation, Nick hopes to work in the entertainment industry in New York City, either managing actors or producing commercials.

She has also completed public relations internships with Image Marketing and Annette Jaffe Interiors. Madeline is very involved on campus, as she is currently the Editor-in-Chief of The Hofstra Chronicle. Since joining the Chronicle in September 2022, she has worked her way up the ranks, serving as staff, Copy Chief and Business Manager, before landing in her current position, where she leads a team of nearly 40 editors and a rolling number of staff to produce award winning content to 57,000 monthly readers. Driven by her own experiences with health and disability recognition, Madeline plans to work in entertainment public relations following her graduation.

Chelle is a senior at Hofstra studying public relations with minors in philosophy and psychology. Her passion for the arts and moral advocacy guides her creative and professional journey, as she has experience working as a Social Media Intern for NYC-based non-profit AIDS service organization GMHC Health Services (formerly known as Gay Men’s Health Services). Chelle is very involved on campus, as she serves as Director of Membership of the Hofstra Chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and Social Media Manager for Hofstra’s student-run film talk show, Director’s Cut. Isabella is a senior at Hofstra studying public relations and strategic communications with minors in disability studies and mass media studies. Her passion for event planning, digital marketing, social media and entertainment guides her creative and professional journey as she currently works as a Marketing Intern for EmPRO Insurance. There, she creates promotional materials across digital platforms, designs website landing pages, and collaborates with executives to develop educational brochures and client-facing content. She also supports large-scale internal event planning, managing logistics for events with more than 200 attendees while maintaining brand consistency. Her experience also extends to high-profile entertainment and fashion events, having worked with Tucker Productions at the MTV Video Music Awards and interning at New York Fashion Week with Bollare PR. Isabella is very involved on campus, as she previously served as a Communications Assistant at the Zucker School of Medicine, where she oversaw social media content calendars, produced bi-weekly newsletters, and supported media outreach efforts. She has worked as a press intern at DKC/O&M and The Press Room in New York City, where she supported everyday press and publicity tasks like supervising press junkets, curated media and influencer lists and assisted with red carpet events and talent coordination. Kaylee is skilled in media monitoring, press materials, and digital communications, with proficiency in various Public Relation tools like MuckRack and Cision. Passionate about entertainment and media, she brings strong organizational skills and a keen eye for storytelling to her work.Following her graduation, Kaylee plans to finish out her internship that ends in early June doing PR for Broadway shows and continue to grow within the entertainment industry, while working towards having her own agency one day.

While Ionela hasn’t yet completed an internship for credit, she has done promotion and graphic design work for a diverse array of clients, giving her a real-world perspective on how the industry works. This past summer, Carmen completed a public relations internship in Las Vegas at Richelle Rice Media and Consulting Group. At Hofstra, she is a member of The Swing Agency and Alpha Phi, where she serves as the merchandise chair. Following graduation, Carmen plans to move to Italy and pursue a career in luxury public relations.

She has recently spent a semester abroad in Paris studying fashion marketing and public relations, giving her a real-world perspective on how the industry works. Athena is also a member of the Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority on Hofstra's campus. Following her graduation, Athena wants to combine her specific interests in branding, creative efforts, research, event planning and promotional work with the fashion industry.

GRACE WARD
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Grace is a senior at Hofstra studying public relations with minors in drama and musical theatre. As someone who prides herself on her tenacious work ethic and ability to adapt into many different roles within public relations and entertainment, Grace currently interns with the Voiceover Department at DDO Artist’s Agency and writes for BroadwayWorld’s Student Blog section. She has previously held public relations internships at JMG Public Relations and Boneau/Bryan-Brown, and has freelanced as a Talent Escort and Press Production Assistant for MTV’s 2024 and 2025 Video Music Awards, as well as On-Camera Talent for Level All. Grace is very involved on campus, as she is the current Assistant Vice President of the Hofstra Chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and Conference Coordinator for PRSSA National’s upcoming Tri-State District Conference, “From the Island to the Industry,” hosted this April. She is also a member of the Mu Psi chapter of Alpha Psi Omega Theatre Honor Society and has participated in a number of productions through Hofstra’s Department of Drama and Dance as a PR Crew Member, board operator and actor. Following her graduation from Hofstra, Grace’s dream position would be to work in public relations in the entertainment industry.
